Location stays on your device

Enter your approximate location, or choose to use your device’s location. The website does not receive or store these coordinates.

Pass times are estimates above a 10° elevation. Buildings, terrain, interference and transmitter activity affect reception. An overhead satellite may be silent.

This is a listening planner.

Your browser cannot receive satellite radio signals. You need a suitable radio or SDR, antenna and decoding software where required. Listen only to signals you are permitted to receive; transmitting can require a licence.

A few useful things to know

Are these live measurements?

No. Positions and pass times are predictions calculated from published orbital elements. Fresh orbital data improves accuracy; this page shows the age of the available data.

Can I listen in the browser?

No. The browser helps you plan. Receiving a signal requires your own suitable radio or SDR and an antenna. Transmitter schedules and local rules still apply.

Why can I see a satellite but hear nothing?

A satellite can be above the horizon while its transmitter is inactive. Obstructions, the wrong frequency, Doppler shift or antenna direction can also prevent reception.
