The probe is elsewhere on the internet, not your device. Some routers hide their address or do not reply. IP-based map locations can be wrong; every public hop is shown when a location is available.
A few useful things to know
What is a hop?
A hop is a router or network point that responded while the probe traced a path to the target. A hidden hop is normal and does not prove a problem.
Is this the exact cable path?
No. Each step is measured, but IP-based map locations are approximate and can be wrong. The lines connect located steps for orientation, not physical cables.
Why is the route different from my device?
The test starts at the selected Globalping probe, not on your phone or computer. Networks can choose different paths at different times.
